Location
Nevis is located in the Leeward islands of the Caribbean.
The island is just over 35 miles square in area with
the 3000 ft Mount Nevis at its centre.The population
is around 9000.
Government
Nevis, together with its sister island, St. Kitts, became
independant from Britain in 1983 but it remains part
of the British Commonwealth. The legal system is based
on English common law with a Parliament run on similar
lines to the British Parliament. The currency is the
East Caribbean Dollar which is tied to the US Dollar.
Types of Company
Nevis companies are incorporated under the Nevis Business
Corporation Ordinance 1984 which is one of the most liberal
corporate laws in the Caribbean. Company names must end with
Corporation, Incorporated, Company or Limited.

There is no liability to tax of any kind in Nevis (except
payment of the annual duty which is included in our fees).
